YCC - WEEKEND CAMP - 2010

We are delighted to share an exciting new program that will take place at the Y Country Camp this summer.

The first ever “WEEKEND CAMP”, which will take place from Friday July 9^th to Sunday July 11^th, is geared for first time campers, between the ages of 7 -9, giving them an idea of what the fun elements of sleeping camp are all about.

Limited to a small group of campers, the program will be staffed by experienced counselors, specifically selected for this age group to ensure a magical weekend at YCC.

Below is a tentative schedule for the weekend, including a ‘Rainy Day alternative'.

12:00 p.m. - Arrival

12:20 p.m. - Lunch (Pizza)

1:20 p.m - Move in to cabin

2:15 p.m. Tubing/Waterskiing

3:30 p.m. - A & C

4:30 p.m. - Showers; get ready for Bandshell

5:30 p.m. - Bandshell

6:00 p.m. - Oneg Shabbat/Dinner

7:15 p.m. - Evening Program – Bonfire/sing-a-long

- Marshmallows; story-telling

8:45 p.m. - “Wonderful Wash House” (get ready for bed)

9:00 p.m. - Closure activity in bunk (stories, charades)

9:20 p.m. - Lights out

11:15 p.m. - Hike up Sunrise Mountain/Lunch at Sunrise

3:30 p.m. - Canoeing/Kayaking

4:20 p.m. - Basketball

5:30 p.m. - Supper

7:15 p.m. - Junior Side Dance/Kloda Games
