Although we have a magnificent facility and a broad spectrum of innovative programs, it is ultimately our great staff that makes YCC such a special place. This exceptional group of young men and women – the director, assistant directors and supervisors, doctors and nurses, the camp mother, counselors and specialists, and the support staff – all work together to make kids feel good about being here. Most of our staff have been at the Y Country Camp since they themselves were young campers, and they are passionate about passing on their love of YCC to today’s campers. |

Elana Schneiderman In her 10th summer at YCC, Elana is the familiar voice on the telephone who patiently handles the million and one questions and concerns that parents have before camp. Elana is the mother of Kaylie and Marni (two of our Sr. Side campers), and manages to remember the birthday and other special requests of every camper and counselor at camp. |

Linda Teltscher Linda joined the YCC office staff 19 summers ago, and continues to come to camp each year with the same enthusiasm that she had in her first summer. Linda's three kids - Bryan, Ilana and Marty - started off as campers many years ago, and went on to become counselors, specialists and supervisors at camp (even husband Gary makes his annual appearances at camp several times during the summer). |

Jack Fitch Jack is the Coordinator of Health and Safety Services, and has been with YCC for 26 years. Working closely with the camp doctors, Jack coordinates the camp Emergency First Aid team, and is responsible for the Wilderness First Aid Training courses for the Hiking and Tripping Staff. |

Lucie Baillergeon Lucie is the Camp Infirmary Manager and is returning to camp for her 12 th summer. She ensures that the “pill patrol” works smoothly, and that the infirmary facilities are properly maintained. Lucie and the infirmary support staff make sure that every camper or counselors who comes to the infirmary, gets that extra special TLC – and a bowl of soup or “medicinal” candy – that is indicative of the family feeling at YCC. |

Marcy Levine Marcy is returning to YCC for her 7th summer as the Camp Mother. A familiar face at JPPS as a substitute teacher and support staff, Marcy can be seen driving around camp in her golf cart on the way to tucking kids in at night, or "hanging out" with them at the beach. Marcy provides that extra set of eyes - for hats and sunscreen on sunny days - and making sure that lost toothbrushes or batteries are quickly replaced. But mostly, Marcy is there for that extra hug that a camper – or counselor! - sometimes needs. |
