Sid Milech has been the Director of the Y Country Camp since 1994, and was the recipient of Federation CJA’s 1998 award for Professional Excellence. Married to Elaine Wisenthal and the father of three children – who have all been staff at YCC in past summers - Sid is himself a ‘graduate’ of Montreal Jewish camps. Aside from his extensive background in camping (former co-founder and co-director of Redwood Day Camp), Sid is past principal of JPPS and has also taught Jewish Studies at Bialik High School. Stephen (Rabin) Rabinovitch, In his 21st summer at YCC, Rabin oversees the Senior Side campers and staff at YCC, as well as our unique CIT programs. Aside from his other duties during the winter – interviewing and hiring staff, planning staff training orientation sessions, and helping his wife Miriam look after their 10 month-old baby, Livia - Rabin is also responsible for overseeing the annual YCC Fashion Show. Stu Guttman. Very well known in the Montreal Jewish community for his work with family, teen and young adult programming, Stu provides the experience, program excellence and unique ability to always be available to lend a hand or offer advice. Stu, aside from his position as Coordinator of the Montreal Diller Teen Fellows Program, also serves as the Federation West Island Events Coordinator and is in the process of completing a Masters Degree in Professional Jewish Studies through Spertus College.
